After having a few problems with internet and Nvidia drivers on Ubuntu a couple of days ago, I got another computer and installed it on that instead… Its awesome!
The graphics drivers worked streight away when I installed Ubuntu (Dapper – 6.06) so the only other problem I had was with internet access, recently I changed routers my old one was a DLink DSL-604T and the new one which was a DLink DSL-624T (ADSL2), For some reason the internet would not work on the Dlink-624T so I changed it back just to the DSL-624T to the DSL-602T and it worked fine!!! – The problem must lie with the Firmwire, The DSL-624T worked absolutely fine on windows. However my Ubuntu PC did not like it at all!
No worries now though, All is working fine
