TygerBT… development started!

Posted on: January 2, 2007

As some may know I think that I may have posted several weeks back about my open-source project ‘Tyger’ this is a bug tracking system which is basically an alternative to to widely known and used ‘Bugzilla’. This however is powered by PHP and uses MySQL primarily as its Database backend.

This weekend (well yesterday) I started the development of Tyger and have managed to complete a hell of alot and have setup the CVS repository and also commited all files so far.

The database is complete, The history system is working great and Add Bug notes and report bugs are fully working. I mainly now just need to add email support and complete a few more pages, I reckon another couple of days and the system will be near complete.

Hopefully I may be able to release the first release this weekend…. we will have to see 🙂
