TygerBT – Nearing the end of development.

Posted on: January 9, 2007

The final stages now to completing Tyger are underway, I have the last few things that need to be add/tested and ammended.

The last feature to be added to the Front end of the application is the file upload system. This will be a simple routine with SQL INSERT commands that willnot only upload the file but will also take a description of the upload, store the filesize and report any errors with the upload.

I am very happy with the development of Tyger and all has come along nicely I have been using a live version of the system to report bugs with the development version of the software and in the process have identified bugs which have now been resolved.

I am sure that anyone who uses this software will be very happy with the software it is a really neat application with a simple but powerful administation panel. Screenshots and a demo installation version will be installed on our project webserver for visitors to take a look and to test Tyger before the download if they wish.

Several peices of documentation will be published in three diferant formats and uploaded onto the website. People will then be able to download and view the dcumentation which will be supplied as MS Word documents, Adobe PDF and HTML format, The documentation should aid the inital installation and configuration of Tyger. Additonal documentation will be added at a later stage.
