Wow! – TygerBT is almost here!

Posted on: January 10, 2007

The development of Tyger Bug Tracking System (TygerBT) is almost here, Development has been solid for the past two weeks the final test, bug fixes and preperation is taking place to get this rolled out for the annouced release date being January 15th 2007 (This monday coming).

New features have now been added for example, last night I coded a file upload system into the system which if enabled in the admin panel will allow users to upload files to the server and will dynamically link them to the bug report.

We have about 14 issues in the offical bug tracking system that will be sorted out before monday and then the final touches will be added to the Tyger site, The new forums which will cover both projects: TygerBT & Iguana Server stats will then go live and then everything will be ready.

I then hope that we get loads of users using the software as this is a really great web application now, I will start writing the documentation for the software soon as well as several tutorials like: How to install a Tyger Bug Tracking Application server with Ubuntu Server.

I am looking foward to releasing this software, I hope that many people will be able to use it and find it a very handy tool, I also hope that the project will grow and Tyger to become a well used PHP alternative to Bugzilla.
